Heading to Pittsburgh for a couple of days. I know Fat Head's has a place on the South Side. Just wondering if there are any good bottle shops on Carson Street. Thanks in advance.

The Carson Street Deli is really the only bottle shop down there. Carson Street is mainly just bars. If you have a car, I strongly recommend you go to the Giant Eagle Market District in Shadyside. It's a 10 minute drive tops.

Awesome, thanks. Does Fat Head's sell sixes or growlers?

That's actually about a 20 minute drive but less than 5 miles. That's the city for you though.

But yes, Jeevo is right. Giant Eagle Shadyside has a great selection.

sigh...I guess someone should mention Smokin' Joe's sells bottles too and the selection is "decent", but expect to pay for it. I'm merely mentioning for the sake of giving additional options in case you are truly without transportation.

Still though, no reason not to go to Carson St Deli...
