I've bought 1/2 liter flip top bottles and I use them for serving and storing my beer. But the cardboard cases they come in don't last. What do people recommend to hold bottles? Are there milk crates or storage containers that fit the bottles well?
Most wine cases (9 bottles) hold up pretty good, find 'em at grocery/liquor store for free. They're sized for 750ml so your halfs will fit easily, also tall enough to keep any light out.
