Bottle variation, is it real?

    I have only had a few beers with coconut and they all had one thing in common, I disliked each of them. Very consistent. That’s just me though.

    Temperature could be a factor. Even if one beer is 5* warmer/colder taste perception can vary widely. I once brewed with coconut and could only really taste it once it warmed away from refrigerator temps.

    I have not noticed this from the same pack. Only with age as the beer gets older the flavors fall off some. If you are getting 6 beers with 6 different flavors I would lean towards something else not the beer. Usually what I eat impacts what I drink, also beer temp, etc.
