I got it straight from the Minister of Progress. The labels are in and should be ready to go in the next few days. Bottles should be at the usual spots, although if you have trouble finding any they'll be on sale at the B&B, too. This batch was aged in bourbon barrels for 18 months and should be ready to drink immediately.

By default they tend to use some variety of Heaven Hill barrels. I'd suspect this one is no different although I should have asked.

I hope it's HH. Every stout I've had aged in HH has been off the charts fantastic. Of course it helps that the base stouts were stellar to begin with.

Awesome. I'll stop by and grab a bottle. Did they mention the cost? 12 oz / 22 oz bottles? Thanks!

    Yumz.
Lots of HH barrels around, as they've been the most forthcoming with single barrels for us, anyways. B&B has one of our HH barrels, actually... I wonder if...

They'll be in the usual (at least for the B&B) 1/2L bottles. Pricing hadn't been finalized yet, but ounce for ounce they'll be in-line with what you'd expect. In other words - no Eclipse pricing.

Good, I don't like paying $30 for a bottle of beer. Thanks for the info!

Gonna have to head down to Denver to grab this one. I think the 2L bottle will be the perfect size for a barrel aged stout.

Judging by all the 2012 Eclipses collecting dust out there, you are not alone.

Oh - to clarify, those bottles are HALF liter bottles, not 1 or 2 liter bottles. They're somewhat unique for breweries here in the US, but they're close to the Monty Python Holy Grail Ale bottles.

Same size as the other bottles, like Turnip the Beets and Man Beer?
