No draft, these were bottled 6 months ago. They do have a really massive west coast IPA on draft, though. "Hop Slap."

Their barley wine on tap was pretty good too

Is it "Release the Hounds"? I love that beer. Didn't see it yet the last time I was in.

Yeah, Release the Hounds is their BA American barleywine. I haven't had this batch but it's usually nice. The English Barleywine, Royal Oil...totally different story. It's worth any price or any trade. Hopefully they bottle a larger batch eventually.

I got the last bottle of Liquid Brain at Grapevine today and drank it tonight when I got home. Immediately after finishing it, I walked down the street to buy three more bottles directly from Bull & Bush. It's a truly world class bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout. Very highly recommended.

I have a bottle warming on the counter now. I will report back. I have been eagerly awaiting this beer to end up in a bottle for a few years now. Congrats to everyone at the B&B on the first bottle release of Liquid Brain!

The bottle is every bit as good as the draft version I've loved for so long. Absolutely on par with the best BA stouts...if not better.

Wasn't it infected last time they made it?

If they made an infected batch (certainly possible) it hasn't been a normal batch. It sits in barrels for at least a year. The previous batches have been listed as being from '08 and '10. The last batch before this one got a WBC gold. If there was an infected batch between these two, it got tossed. Either that or maybe it was one of the oddballs they put in unusual barrels. Every now and then they'll toss it into other barrels like scotch, brandy, wine, or even Pappy. They taps those once every few years. Could be one of those.
