Where?? I just cracked open my first one ever and I am completely blown away by this beer. Absolutely incredible. I would put this up against BCBS anyday.

I live in a different part of the state. If anyone is willing to run to a store for me and ship, I would send a nice thank you box

I totally agree with you on both the 2008 Liquid Brain being fantastic and the Royal Oil being out of this world fantastic. I really hope they do make another batch of Royal Oil and bottle it.

Posted on ISO forum. If anyone is interested in trading a couple bottles to Southern California I would love to try Liquid Brain. Please BM me.

I'm guessing the answer is "no" at this late date, but anyone seen this around town recently? Just rolling through town tonight and hitting a couple shops. Thanks!

It could still be around at some smaller shops, but it's definitely gone from the B&B...or at least they're no longer selling it

On a related note - bottles of Release the Hounds are hitting shelves right now. This is their American-style barleywine and it has won a few different medals, too.
They have it on tap and you can buy it (3PP) at the B&B, too.

I've never had Release the Hounds...how is it?

It's a good to great American Barleywine, although honestly that isn't a style I'm a giant fan of.
They have Tank Town Brown (a B.A. double brown ale) on tap right now and I much prefer that one. I haven't seen Erik lately, but I'll pester him to bottle that one and Pimp My Rye next...

When I had Tank Town Brown it was listed as being aged in pappy Van Winkle barrels and was incredible.

Yup, they've done that before with the Brain and Royal Oil, too. The current one is aged in these I believe.
I had one on Sunday and it was great. Fans of the Brain would almost certainly like it.

Might need to hit up B&B for some of that Tank Town. Sounds like my wheelhouse..

...and Tank Town is gone. On the other hand, next week you can expect some crazy taps for CBC week. In fact there are probably a few surprises on the way.

At B&B or just in town in general?

Certainly in general, but definitely at the B&B. They have 40 taps, and next week they're going to try to have all 40 filled with vintages of their own beers.
