    For those interested:
Bull and Bush had the Tank Town Brown on tap again yesterday.
They were also selling this year's Legend of the Liquid Brain, 1 bottle limit. They decided to be cute and raise the price to $14.71. Presumably because this is 2014 and they opened in 1971. Seems like a stupid reason to jack the price. But I guess if someone wants the beer that bad the extra $1.71 won't be that big of a deal.
They had 2005 LotLB on the menu still but apparently it was long gone.

So...me still not drinking and all, what did I miss over there? Royal?

Nope - the releases were vintages for 3-year vertical vintages of Paas Bier, Marriage Golden, and Release the Hounds.
They also have/had 2005 Liquid Brain from burgundy barrels, Tank Town Brown, Yule Fuel, and 2012 Snarky Devil.
They also released a new bottled BA Old Ale called CBC that was a partnership with Grapevine and Mile High W & S. If anything Royal is spotted in the wild you WILL be the first to know

After living in Colorado for 8 years, I finally made my first visit to Bull & Bush last night. Tried the Tank Town Brown and that beer is fantastic. Probably wouldn't have chosen that one without the rec's for it over here, so thanks for the heads up everyone.

B&B's CBC is another homerun. They still had bottles last week when I was there.

Grapevine had plenty on the shelves, I don't think this one is going to run out soon. Agreed though, it was delicious.

They snuck CBC out without a lot of warning and during a week where everyone was distracted...plus it's only in two stores. It's nearly as good as Liquid Brain, IMO. Even though there are plenty of bottles still out there, they made less of it than they did the Brain.

One funny thing is that Turnip the Beets has been somewhat neglected. It won a WBC gold and is a chardonnay barrel aged tripel...but I think the name has held it back. It sounds more gimmicky than it actually is. The next batches will probably have a new label that should hopefully do it a little more justice. If you stumble upon a bottle still on the shelf, it's drinking really, really good right now.

Reviving an old thread since the new Liquid Brain is on the horizon.
Just opened up one from the last batch .. man is this drinking fantastic.
The bourbon is there, probably around the same as fresh, not strong, but there., but there is a chocolatiness now that I don't remember from before, or at least not this strong.

If you have one on the shlef, maybe hold out until the next bacth to side-by-side. But if you have more than one, open one up and enjoy.
