Picked up several bottles yesterday in Fayetteville. Looking forward to trying all soon especially the Maibock & Coffee Stout. I'll risk the six bucks on a bomber vice double or more for growlers of an unknown age.
It is year round, I believe. I bought bombers at Liquor World in Fayetteville last week, was on tap at Doe's Steakhouse in Fayetteville 2 weeks ago. Also try Macadoodles in Springdale.
Will keep my eyes peeled. The Lost Bridge Rauch beer was good, needed some more body, to measure up to German greatness, but I would buy it again...
I have avoided their pre-filled growlers I've seen on the shelves in the stores. That can't be good for the beer. Bottling is bad enough, but a growler... I'm not crazy about beer from growlers even when it's fresh...
Glad to hear Saddlebock is getting into bottling. I visited the brewery last March when I was in NW AR for a wedding. They had some good stuff. I figured I would never get to have any of their stuff unless I was back in the area. So now your saying their is a chanceā¦...
Within a week I would take my chances, but when there's no freshness info, you are just asking to get burned...
