The most valuable beer I'd trust this with is PBR. I'd rather just get a separate beer fridge, which is better anyway since I can control the temps and don't have to worry about keeping food colder.

Pretty cool for readily available stuff you're gonna drink right away. I'd worry about storing long term like this because of gravity/cap seal issues. But, this is obviously not for that. I'd buy some.

Whoa. You can save enough room to fit a samdwich sized tupperware container? Let me donate.

Interesting idea. But I think any upward pressure on my bottle caps would be unwelcome. I don't think I'd use it just because of the hassle of cleaning the caps and sticking them up there. Plus, like you said, bumping and knocking them off.

This is a pretty pointless idea. Infinitely easier to just stack the Tupperware and other food items to clear space for the beer

Good storage idea for macro lagers. In fact, I see a major advertising campaign on the horizon.

This was my thought--you'd have to own a cavernous refrigerator for this to really save much room. The way my shelves are set up, there's only about an inch (at most) of clearance above bottles if I were to set them on the top shelf, so suspending them from the "ceiling" of the fridge wouldn't really create any usable space.

I've bought beers with defective caps. One exploded in the car. After that, I would never use something like this.

(all from the same brewery, so clearly an isolated problem, but still...)

Not the worst idea I've ever seen(definitely better than the cooler in the ground). Once again with these gadgets it all comes down to price. Like others have stated for $39 you could probably get some Tupperware to make more room or come up with a better storage solution for other things to make room for beer.

Wait...what's all that other stuff in the fridge?

Seriously - minimal space gain and I would be worried about knocking them down reaching for whatever else is in the way of the beer. Predict this will end up on the island of misfit toys...

Basically, the guy is a product designer who makes a living on Kickstarter. Instead of relying on private funding (or personal funding) for a proto-type design for a product that may or may not be worthwhile, he gets folks to invest enough so he can put out a full production run of said product and profit in the meantime. There's no product testing (beyond what he himself provides) and no guarantee that the product is a good idea or will even work.

Kickstarter, the new As Seen On TV.

they should do something like that with cans. a strip that can be placed on the side, top or back. Would be good for the people with 30 BLs in their fridge. But still, I wouldn't use it

I saw this the other day, but aren't most pry-offs aluminum or tin? I thought screw caps were the only steel ones?? Guess I know what I am doing when I get home. Regardless, I have a separate beer fridge and I think you would have to have a 30 or 40 cubic ft or bigger to utilize those. (which space shouldn't be an issue at that point) Mine is around 25, and there isnt really enough shelf clearance for this.
