Meeting family for a vacation in Breckenridge this summer. They are picking us up at the airport and I'd love to stop at a good bottle shop on the way to stock up for the week. Problem is, the rest of the family won't be too keen on big detours just to satisfy my beer needs. Are there any spots you would recommend that are close to 70 or easy to get to from 70? Thanks.

Applejacks is just off of I-70 and Youngfield (and 32nd Ave) out west of Denver. It's big, should have some goodies.

That's the quickest off the highway that I know about. Others require a wider detour

Sweet! Thank you, kind sir. I figured I could find plenty of everyday drinking beers in Breckenridge, but I wanted some special stuff to sip on a few of the evenings and a few more to send back to Portland.

Check out Mr. B's in the LoDo/Ballpark/River North neighborhood - it might not seem like it at first, but if you venture south on I-25 from I-70, I bet you could be back on 70 westbound in 30 minutes or less. Otherwise, yes Applejack's is literally RIGHT off I-70.

Need to go check out City Liquors in Breck and Dillon ridge Liquors in Dillon. A lot of those mountain stores hold really good beer that flys off the shelf in the city
