I'll be in Indy 5/16-20 and am looking to find a few bottles to bring back home to Colorado. I know the brewery/tap room scene and also know which stores to hit up but was hoping to get some recommendations on some (realistic) bottles to look for. It'd be great to find a wale but I'm more interested in solid recommendations that I can realistically find. I like all types of beer so any recommendations you could make would be appreciated.

Also, I could probably fit a few beers in my suitcase on the way out if anyone wanted to make an IP trade. I can get Colorado locals obviously and have these currently in the cellar: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoNzdzXxZG-MdEJxUmpTeVB6dnIzWndBSDBDdWotWkE&usp=sharing. Everything I have listed is available for the right offer. Send me a message if you'd like to make a trade. If I'm doing a trade, the top of my list would be things like: DL, ZD, KBS, and other midwest stouts/rarities.

    Thanks and Cheers!

Sorry, fixed the Google Docs link. I know it wasn't working properly.

I have no real suggestions, though you might find a bottle of Doom around still if you're looking for one.

As for a trade, I might be interested. I'll send a BM later.

You will be happy with Crown Liquor downtown. I am from out of state and always leave there with some treasures

Yeah I don't really have any expectation to find anything like that. Just want to find some solid things I can't get in Colorado.

That'd be cool to find. Thanks for the suggestion.

Payless on... shit. I forgot what road it's on. Anyway, the one by the Greenwood Mall had one when I was there tuesday. You may want to call and see if they'll hold it for you. And if you are down on my side of town, make sure to hit up parti pak. God I love their selection.

Definitely stop into the Crown downtown. They recently had some Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree and a variety 12-pack of Crooked Tree (3 each of 4 types). You may have to check at the counter to see if they have any left. I've seen some of the Dark Horse stout series on shelves recently. My favorites are the Plead the 5th and Tres Blueberry. I'm not sure if any of the stores have Upland sours on their shelves but they are definitely worth picking up. Flat 12 Pogues Run Porter is real tasty(dark beers are their specialty) and I also like their Walkabout pale ale.
