Any good shops along that route? Anything not available in Chicago I should look out for? Making the trek tomorrow morning. Taking 90 N to 50 W.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

When I venture to LG I usually go north first to Tenuta's deli in Kenosha and then head west.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will likely make a stop there soon!

I'd stop by Tenuta's for more variety, Woodman's if you're in a hurry. There's jack between 94 and LG and you won't find anything special at Bruno's right now. X Hops Maroon just hit Milwaukee this week so I don't think CJW has their allotment yet to ship south.

Heading up to Lake Geneva later today. I know OP was going there from Chicago. I'm heading there from the western burbs (Geneva). Any decent bottle shops in WI along 120 on the way north to Lake Geneva? Not looking for any whales just some NG or CW shelfies. I see Bruno's and a couple of others in the places tab here on BA but no reviews. TIA.

It's only 7 miles from the IL border to LG. Brunos will have all the NG you can handle. If it's CW that you want, sometimes Gooseberries in Burlington has hidden gems otherwise it's just basic shelf stock at this point.
