Hello! Moved here to DC recently and am in the hunt for more bottleshops in the area. Am looking to expand my collection a bit and find some rare/local beers to trade with my friends.

    So far I've visited:

Perfect Pour (was very impressed with their selection but sheesh price gouging FTL)
Corridor Wines and Spirits (actually found four bottles of Parabola last Tuesday! :sunglasses:)
    Chevy Chase Wine and Spirits
    Rodmans
    Whole Foods on P Street

Any other places? I heard the Whole Foods in Alexandria is amazing, and I have yet to visit Churchkey. Am open to MD / VA if they're not too far away.

You definitely heard wrong about Whole Foods in Alexandria. It's fine, but nothing close to the P St store. If you're going to a store in Alexandria, make it Rick's. My personal favorite store is Connecticut Ave. Wine & Spirits. It's right by the Dupont Metro at Connecticut & Q, and brings in a ton of out-of-market stuff, plus has a great selection of international and hard-to-find beers like Evil Twin and lots of lambics. The out-of-market stuff might be a little pricey, but if you really have a craving for Surly or 3 Floyds, it's worth it to splurge every once in a while.

Maybe he got it confused with the Whole Foods in Fair Lakes.

Thanks for the response guys! Will check out Connecticut Ave Wine and Spirits next week or so.

Another question- what are some great East Coast beers that I could ship to my friend back in Colorado? He hooked me up with Beast, Uncle Jacobs, and the like so am wondering what brews would make great trading material?
