I have about 100 resealable bottles ie Heineken bottles. Any special recommendations to use these for bottling home brew?

Resealable how? I haven't had a Heiny in a while. Are they pop top or twist off? Twist off are generally frowned upon for bottling homebrew. Pop top is what I suspect 90% of the folks that bottle their beer use (the other 10% being Grolsh style swing-tops). Just need new bottle caps and a capper. When you do cap them try not to go all Schwarzenegger on 'em (strength-wise, not adulterous-sex-with-the-house-keeper-wise) lest you risk breaking the bottle at the neck.

Heiny bottles are also green correct? If so, most people also try to stay away from that, preferring to use brown. Light coming through the glass will affect the beer in a negative way i.e. skunk it.

It's normal for all of us who bottle our homebrews to re-use bottles from beers that we've purchased. But screw-off bottles should not be used. Taking the label off is optional, but most of us do remove them, and many of us do it carefully so we can collect them. (Do a Search of this forum for threads for how to remove labels.)

One note of caution: I have re-used some bottles that came from imported beers, and a couple of times the caps did not seal very well, and I think it was because the bottle's mouth may be undersized on some imported beers. I've seen comments in these threads that other homebrewers also have discovered this issue. I can't tell you which beers came from those bottles to be able to point you to which beers because the labels were removed before the issue was noticed; however, it likely was not Heineken because I stay away from any bottles that are not brown.

Stay away from green glass. Brown or bust.
