I'll be in town for GABF in a few months and plan on staying in Boulder for a night. Any good suggestions on a hotel close to the action (beer and food)?
I would suggest staying in longmont. There are a cluster of hotels on the west side of town that would be a ten minute drive from Oskar Blues, Avery, and Left Hand. If you stay here, I would also check out Wibby, Finkel and Garf, and Powder Keg.
I would stay at the University Inn (not a super nice place, but close to Pearl St) or the Briar Rose B+B (probably 20-30 more, but still a prime location, very close to Back Country Pizza). The Broker Inn will probably be $60 cheaper than these places, is not nice, but you could Uber and probably save money. The Hampton Inn in Gunbarrel is probably a 15 minute walk from Avery/Asher/Vindication, 5 from Finkel and Garf, but is 6 miles outside of town. I like the Pearl St atmosphere, but purely beer wise that isn't a bad option.
