Wife and friends are heading to Boulder for a trip and looking to give some brewery recommendations in Boulder or closely surrounding. Prefer sours, NE IPAs, flavored stouts, all that jazz.

    Any recommendations?

Hazel's is the best store, you can find almost anything on the shelf that you're looking for.

For breweries, get to Primitive in Longmont if you want some truly unique great tasting stuff.

Haze Bangers get to Lafayette and hit odd 13. On your way stop by Cellar West and try some saisons and lagers.

Taproom- Can't really beat Backcountry Pizza.

We always enjoy our visit to Avery, Up Slope and Back Country Pizza.

I recommend Endo in Lafayette on Arapahoe. Great beer!

I think Mountain Sun is a must in Boulder, although the location on Pearl is usually packed. Their second location, Southern Sun, is bigger. They usually have a full gamut of beer styles. Food is good, too.

If I’m in Lafayette my car just automatically heads for Liquid Mechanics...
