hey all, I am starting a new job with a company this Monday, October 10th, and, my boss lives in Boulder. Needless to say, I'm going to be spending a lot of time there. Can you all help me in finding where the best tap lists, breweries, and, bottle shops are in the area? Thanks a lot and cheers!
Tap lists - Backcountry Pizza Breweries - Avery, Finkel & Garf, Powder Keg (none of which are actually in Boulder). Maybe add Odd 13, depending on where in Boulder. Upslope is in Boulder. bottle shops - Hazels, Whole Foods, Boulder Liquor Mart.
I'm also a fan of Asher, and Bootstrap in Niwot are kicking some ass, see this years GABF. I really like Sanitas' taproom and several of their beers, too. Broomfield is pretty close so don't sleep on Four Noses either. Of course Including Longmont gets you a lot more than just Oskar Blues...though that alone is worth the trip.
Staying at the St Julien downtown. Hopefully a couple of these places aren't far. Cheers and thanks for all the input!
Backcountry Pizza and Taphouse is 1.3 miles away according to The Google. For me, that's like the perfect walk after pizza and beer. Also, they're having an IPA event tomorrow evening (the 12th) if you're in town by then. Looks promising: https://www.facebook.com/events/143828442745725/
