You've really misinterpreted my post, but I'm glad you posted in case @TheJermis read my question the same way that you did. I even wonder if you have the right guy because I'm never even remotely humorous. Go easy on me, kidding isn't the same as a backhanded barb.

Honestly, I've been a fan of Boulevard in the past and I continue to be one today. Anyone who participates on this forum the way that TheJermis does isn't deserving of disrespect and none was intended. I understand that some here automatically interpret any business decision as inherently lacking in integrity, but that's a childish point of view and it's not where I was coming from. My question was honest and without a hidden agenda or judgement. When I asked if Boulevard had to brew a certain number of new beers each year due to Duvel's involvement, I was asking to get clarity on this statement:
I think that's a very reasonable thing to ask. Apologies to TheJermis if he saw my question as loaded rather than honest and unassuming.

Just to elaborate further. I also asked about Collaboration No 1. Boulevard wasn't distributing to my area when that beer came out. I would have liked to try that beer. I am under the impression that the recipe for it was very specific. I would have considered it good news if the Noble Prize recipe was the same. I now know that it isn't the exact same beer, but I want to try it anyway. I would jump for joy if they ever decided to re-release Collaboration No 3 in four packs. I like Boulevard.

Anyway @gibgink , I'm glad I at least made you laugh at some point. I swear I'm not the jaded man you think I am.

I wouldn't say Noble Prize is terribly different than Collaboration No. 1. There are 70 kg of hops added in the kettle and 10 kg of that is Mandarina Bavaria. The rest is Saaz.

For what it's worth, I didn't take any offense to your question about new beers. Every brewery wants to innovate and our approach to new beers/innovation at BLVD hasn't changed much since joining the Duvel Moortgat family.

@zid I apologize for misinterpreting your post then. I'll admit it, I'm a @TheJermis homer. He gets paid to take heat and not say anything, but as an unpaid spokesperson of all breweries, I will defend any brewery spokesperson from what I believe are unwarranted attacks. If that makes any sense, lol.

It does and we're on the same team then. I could have worded my post better. Cheers.

@JeremyDanner So can you estimate when the 4 packs of the stout is going to be available? Still shooting for August?

Looks like distribution to GJ CO stopped.

    Cheers!

We've pushed the debut of Imperial Stout back a bit. I don't have a confirmed release date at this time. Stay tuned.

Our beer finder is showing several spots in the GJ area have recently ordered BLVD beers, but I'll follow up with our CO guy and update you.

    Thanks Jeremy for your help.

College Liquours told me their only going to carry the smaller bottles, they have not gotten any 750 mls for a very long time. This place has the biggest selection of craft brews in GJ.

Fischer's I believe I've never seen any 750 mls as well, maybe some 12 oz. Nice selection, but mostly sixers, very few single's sold.

    Andy's Liquours same as Fischer's

    Fun Junction same as Fischer's

Grand Central Liquors same as Fischer's

Mostly year round stuff around here, which I really do not care for. Hardly ever seen the seasonals, no smoke stacked series, definitely no limited releases.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the quick reply! Guess if I've waited a year, a little longer can't be too bad.

I dig honest feedback and would love to hear your thoughts on our year-round beers if you'd like to direct message or email. I'm jdanner at boulevard dot com.

I'd like to see Simcoe Harvest make it's way to bottles for a special or season release. Went to brewery last November and found myself going back for multiple pours.

Just stumbled upon this thread and may not be the right place to ask, but are there more Brewhouse One series beers in the works? @JeremyDanner
