Anyone ever try this ? Does it age as well as other quads ?

It ages just fine, in my opinion. And the BBQ actually needs some age, as far as I'm concerned (too hot).

Had a well aged bottle recently and loved it - though now I think of it as a quadleywine - don't even remember what it tasted like fresh

The cherries seem to pop more after about a year of aging...

I am a big fan of aging Quads, and also a fan of Sixth Glass fresh. However, did not find that this one improved with age. Had a 750 with a few years on it, and found it to be slightly less impressive than fresh. Not bad, but definitely not improved. I am drinking these fresh, and will stick to aging some other Quads/BSDAs that I have had better results with (CvDK Blau, Val Dieu Grand Cru).

I'm a fan of Sixth Glass both fresh and aged. I've only had a few aged 750s but I bet the little bottles would develop quickly if you prefer it with some age.
