I have one 2011 left in my cellar. Waiting to restock before I crack it. I opened my second to last about 2 months ago though and it was exquisite great balance between bourbon sweet and cherry sour.

Love BBQ. One of my top 5.

I'm really excited for this to finally be back! Saw on the Boulevard blog that this will be the first flash pasteurized version.

Pretty sure it will, considering we have gotten Saison Brett, Love Child, Grainstorm, and most of the other Smokestack series. At least in NoVA.

Greens confirmed it via twitter, and I was in there last night, and asked the beer guy about it. Mid Oct.

The link you posted isn't a distribution map, it's where the beer was reported available at this time, by the way.

That map shows all the places that RateBeer users have logged it in as being purchased at those stores. This beer is coming to GA (well, Atlanta anyway). Green's tweeted in response to someone asking about it that it will be out in the first or second week of October, and the got that information from their distributor... You're welcome.

hah! Yeah, greens is pretty good about their info. They've gotten every other Boulevard release thus far, this one would be no different. I suspect they get a decent bit, and I'll venture to say it sits around for a couple days as well too.. Most of their stuff does any how.

This is true. When mlhyatt said it wasn't coming to GA I figured it must've been over 15%. Once I saw it wasn't I knew we were going to get it eventually. I bet you're right about it sitting on the shelves for a couple days too.

We got it in local shops last year but it only lasted about a week and was sold out. I recommend it. I believe its their Sixth Glass quad aged on wood.
Edit: might have been 2011 Im thinking of.

    Bourbon soaked wood.

Glad it was easy to get plenty of this, local distribution seems to have improved a lot.

Got it today, 5 cases and potentially more at Carroll Hy-Vee. Be sitting around the 10.99 range. And I can say, as I take a sip, is that its astounding. Some tart cherry with subtle Vanilla/oak flavors. Balances out perfectly with nothing really standing out on the palate. Well done brew, boulevard has killed it once again....see what happened to that aged bottle here soon.
