Anyone been on the 90 minute 20 dollar tour of boulevard? Is it worth the money? 1 1/2 seems like a long time. How many samples do you get? Do you get to sample smokestack or barrel aged? I'd love to sample from the barrel not sure if you get this in the 20 dollar tour?

Have you ever been on a tour where you can sample straight from the barrel?

I haven't but I know it has been done. Breweries giving a sample of their barrel aged beers during a tour. I just want to see if it's worth the 20 bucks. If it's just a longer tour with beers from the tasting room I dont think it's worth it

My wife went on the tour, was offered no samplings and oddly they don't allow you to bring your beer with you on the tour (this is her testimonial)....she had to chug her Tank 7 before it started. That being said, I love Boulevard Brewery and most of their offerings. Both Boulevard and Schlafly taught me early that AB is just training wheels.

Was this the 20 dollar 90 minute tour?

That I do not know...I texted, I'll update this once she responds. She was with "cheap", non beer-minded people, so that would lead me to believe that this was not the $20 tour. Sorry, I didn't know they offered multiple tour formats.

@TheJermis would be the best source for this.

If you're on the fence, give our tour desk a call. They'd be happy to answer any questions you have. They're at 816.701.7247

Also, my wife isn't sure what she paid, but she was thinking $5-$7...I'm sure the tour is worth it, BLVD is world class.

There isn't a tour that's priced at $5-7. There's the free public tour and then there are two premium tours, The Smokestack and Unfiltered Tours, that are priced at $20.
