Boulevard Imperial Stout

    Has anyone seen this in California yet? Thanks for any tips if you have.

    If you are in the LA area Boulevard has been carried at the Vendome in Toluca Lake for ~6 months now. I think that I have seen the Imperial Stout there, but you could definitely call and ask. If you do go there I highly recommend doing one of the beer or wine tastings (~daily, very relaxed vibe).
    Surprisingly I found a lot of Boulevard stuff at the Cost Plus World Market near The Grove in Beverly Hills. Reasonably priced and even included the Coffee Ale and another one-off.

    ^^I believe above is referring to Dark Truth. My guess is that if it was just released last week in MO, then we won't see any until January. I'll just follow this thread, thanks for starting it Mr ABurrito.

    Sorry for the confusion I don't mean the dark truth stout which is fairly easy to find (thanks for the tips though)

    this hit denver last wk...so should b here soon if LA gets same portfolio of boulevards (which i think it now does)

    When I get one, I'm doing a side-by-side with regular BCBS to see which sellout BA Imperial Stout is better :wink:

    This one's only 40% BBA. Hopefully it's enough of BB integrated into it.

    Picked this up, in Maryland, today. The salesman had it behind the counter and had no intention of putting it on the shelves! Only sold to the people who inquire.

    Moral of the story? Ask for it - they could be hiding it!

    Total Wine Brea had some. Believe Mr. K's did as well. Pretty sure Hacienda will be getting theirs soon.

    I ended up getting some when I was in Kansas for the Holidays. It is quite good, especially for the price.
