Boulevard Love Child #2

At mondo now fyi, can't wait to crack my bottle.

 

Anyone seen this in the Fort Collins area? I guess I could just check the usual suspects, but I'm being lazy.

 

We tasted it last weekend, and I think you can safely disregard this label. The bottle we had did contain a present, but not overwhelming, funk. Regardless, this is perhaps the best off-the-shelf beer I've had this year.

 

i cracked my bottle a couple of days ago, and although there wasn't as much funk as i really like, it really didn't matter. i was blown away. it's the best sour i've ever had... but then again i'm just getting my toes wet in that arena.

 

It's awesome right now but I have a feeling this is only going to get better with time.

 

I opened one last night and yes it is freaking awesome! Must get more.

 

Well, it sounds like this is worth the price. I havent even had time to hit shops lately (life of an accountant at the end of a fiscal year). Anyone know if it's still around anywhere?

 

Just got back from Argonaut with a bottle so they have some. Looked to be a popular item as the front was out, had to find someone working there to check in the back.

Hope its worth it 'cause I chose this over the Surette Reserva which I really want to check out. I had one big purchase the wallet would allow and hope I made the right one!

 

Still haven't seen it on the southside( Lukas or Davidsons).

 

Lukas had one case last Saturday and it was gone in 3 minutes. Although I think they saved some from the case since I think he only put out 8.

 

Snagged one at Argonaut on my way out of town. Talked to a nice guy from KC as well who made the same purchase.

Now to find some 2012 Saison Brett

$13 there. No idea how much anywhere else.

Got a bottle at Boulder Wine and Spirits tonight and they still had a couple more.

 

Mondo Vino has both Saison-Brett and Love Child as of noon today

 

Was def the surprise of the night at our tasting yesterday. Really great beer from the blvd crew!

 

Just cracked my bottle open....awesome stuff, indeed.
