Not a lot of actual release details yet, but here is a new collaboration beer from Boulevard and Odell to celebrate the 25 year Anniversary of the first kegs each brewery sold back in 1989. Sounds like this will be "golden copper ale" with a "caramel-toffee" malt profile, along with "piney hop notes." It is being brewed at Boulevard, therefore I imagine it will be available in their distribution footprint. This will be packaged in 750ml bottles and knowing it's Boulevard, will likely be corked and caged.

It is going to be on tap in Denver during GABF at FreshCraft. I might just have to swing by and try it! Add 180 Shilling release this week as well... Good times for some Odell beer!

Hope hope it makes Boulevard's footprint!. That'll be two Odell beers for me in NC after FoCollaboration with New Belgium, which was excellent.

The early details I read about, before they really had much in the way of details, was that it was intended as an homage to the two breweries English brewing tradition roots. Sounds like it could be some kind of English ale--maybe a bitter or an ESB?

Either way, I'll be grabbing some to be sure.

Excellent news! Thank you. Will definitely get some of this. Haven't been disappointed in any larger formats from you guys (y'all make great stuff) and I love Odell, so it'll be great I'm sure.

Since CO gets both can we expect bombers as well as kegs? Or should I be ISO with my buddies in KC?

The Odell version has been released in parts of KC, but we haven't released our side of the collab yet. Kegs (for just the KC area) will be delivered starting on Monday and 750 ml bottles (which will be distributed throughout our network) drop on Tuesday.

Glad to be in Texas, where both breweries distribute! Any word on what the differences between the two versions, if any, may be?

I'd hate to lead you too much with descriptors and influence the way you view both beers so I'lll remain intentionally vague and say that I feel our beer is more of a malt showcase and theirs is a little more hop forward. It's very cool to see how a common malt bill manifests in two different beers.
