Calling out to anyone that went to last year's Boulevardia Taps and Tastes. Tickets go on sale Wednesday and I'm looking for feedback, positive or negative, on the event. I heard last year was a cluster on the bridge but they're moving the location this year. $75/$100 worth it for tickets? Any beers kick early? Cheers.

My wife and I attended Taps & Taste 2014. We really enjoyed the chance to "visit" so many different breweries, and try many different beers, a number of which are not distributed in our area. Having said that, it was a cluster and far more crowded than we expected. They may have limited tickets to around 2000, but that did not include the many there from the breweries themselves, and their guests. While the lines to the individual booths were not terrible, just moving around was a real challenge. Frankly, before they announced it would be moved to a different location, we were planning to skip it this year. Now.... I plan to try for the tickets. If you do go, be sure to take a cab or make other arrangements. The beer is flowing fast and there is no way either of us could have driven.

Is it worth the $75/100? That is a very individual question. We did not drink $150 worth of beer between us, but we did discover several breweries and beer we have since added to our collection. It is an event and a luxury. Overall we really enjoyed it. Hopefully they learned from last year and this year will be much improved.
