    In the MSP area, Indeed has used rum and I believe tequila barrels. Hammerheart has used both brandy and aquavit barrels. Indeed's Rumking is my favorite of the bunch.

    Bourbon is a particular note, and there's a vast world of other notes out there on the spectrum that haven't been factored into the equation.
