whats this typically trade for and how is it? I'm on the hunt for all things maple, don't think I've been disappointed yet. Most trades or posts I've seen with bbbm seem to have it as a + or secondary piece of bigger deal How much was it? Tough to get?
It was $12 for the 375. I think a small amount was distro'd but I never saw any on the shelves. You could pick 6 up at the brewery if you made the drive to Athens, which is what I did. Its very good, good luck!
The limit eventually changed to 2 per person per day, and I went twice. The bartender hooked me and the only other customer up with pours from unlabeled short fill bottles. It's fantastic. Of my four I've shared two, gifted one to a very generous sharing partner which he ended up gifting me some things for (a trade kinda?), and plan on sharing my last one soon. Seek it out and enjoy!
It was released awhile ago so its not like they are in high supply now. It would personally take one of my major ISO for me to let go of one of my remaining bottles (I love it). However, there are people that still have them and are willing to trade but it is probably harder than it was when it came out. I traded a BA Dark Apparition and BB Black Maple + good extras for Atrial and Nocturn for reference.
I traded 3 bbbm for a NG r&d Wild peach as reference.....they are one of the higher trading Jackie o's bottles
Honestly any of their 375s. Heres how I'd rank them by my preference. They just came out with 2015 BA Dark Apps last week so it shouldn't be too hard to land one of those. Sherry Oil had the smallest bottle count I believe. 1a.BBBM 1b.A Dark App 1c.Sherry Oil of Aphrodite Vanilla and Coffee Dark App BA Brick Kiln Dark Apparition Rum Oil of Aphrodite Oil of Aphrodite Paw Paw Wheat Bourbon Barrel Paw Paw (people either really liked it or not) and depending on what you have, their 22oz releases (especially their sours) are solid and have low bottle counts.
Ryan's right. I'd hold off on dynamo till the next release so you don't have to give up what it takes. Its rumored to come out in the 375 format at some point this year.
