    Mmm mocha hazelnut. Sounds delicious.

Vanilla is a must have for me. I missed it on the last round, and I'm definitely more keen on vanilla than I would be for another berry sort.

I'm still kicking myself for trading a cherry for 2 four packs of Heady Topper. What acurious fool I was

Huh?. That is correct, it is listed as to be released in November. That is why I am hoping the OP's source just neglected to mention it also being released?

It is drinking incredible right now as well!

BCBBW does matter for those of us unable to obtain most Bourbon County beers because of our states' ABV limits (14% in Georgia). I've noticed the ABV for BCBS creeping ever lower in recent years, which has given me hope that we'd eventually see BCBS in Georgia. I absolutely don't want to see the product compromised just for that one reason, but I keep hoping that we'll get it. BCBBW gave us a taste of Bourbon County, and it was fantastic. If nothing else, I hope we see it again this year.

In our area, this last time BCBS was $16-18 a four-pack, BCBCS and BCBBW were $17-19 a four-pack, and Backyard was $18-20 a bomber.

    In Chicagoland area,

    Bourbon County Stout: between $20 and $25 a four-pack, $5 and $8 a single 12oz
    Bourbon County Barleywine: same
    Bourbon County Coffee: same
Bourbon County Proprietor's: $25 and up for a 22oz/650ml bottle (bomber)
Bourbon County _____: $20 and up for a 22oz/650ml bottle (bomber)

For everywhere else, they will be anywhere between the same price and 50% more expensive (except Proprietor's, which is unavailable outside Chicago).

BCBBW isn't a BCBS variant so not surprised it wasn't mentioned. Have my doubts about them doing vanilla again for a couple reasons.

    1) It's a repeat
    2) They said never again because it was a bitch to clean out the tanks/barrels/whatever

Also, of course they are doing BCBCS this year, the question is what is the coffee going to be.

    Cheers

I heard mention of Rare coming back this year. Heard through the grapevine that started with a GI employee. Crossing my fingers...

I want this year's bottle of Prop. But I will not be paying over $25 for it. No.

There is some BCBS sitting in some 25 year barrels IIRC, different barrel treatment than Rare but yes there is speculation that it will be released as Rare "2.0"

Eh, it is what it is. I know it was expensive, but I wouldn't have gotten one any other way and it was amazing. To each their own.

No, I'm not knocking you for doing it. More power.

Heard 18yr barrels, 20yr barrels, now 25yr barrels. Heard a 2015 release, now a 2014 release. Heaven Hill seems to be the only thing people agree on, but that's meaningless since all their bourbon barrels are Heaven Hill.

Lol game of telephone. Yeah I didn't bother to search to for the thread I read it in here and of course it was just based on a single picture of a barrel (which said rare on it I believe). My recollection was 25 year Heaven Hill with a 2015 release was the story. Who knows..I'd prefer they leave the Rare name alone myself.

I've never had the pleasure of trying any of the Bourbon County offerings yet. Do these get distributed to the GI distribution areas or are they more of one that stays local? I get tons of GI in NY but have never seen these anywhere.

The hazelnut mocha sounds so good. Hopefully GI does another migration week so I can get some instead of dealing with Chicago beer traders.

I doubt they'll have BCBBW this year. BCBS and BCBBW were $18 at Total Wine and $22 at Bottles here.

Folks jumping the border buying up all our BCBCS! I didn't get to try a single bottle of it this year. Didn't see any bottles of the BW, either. Tried that one on tap a few times.
