I don't know, might depend on the bottle count since people seem to care about that number more than the actual taste right now.

If there's a fruit variant, then we'll have to wait anther year. There will be prop, coffee, BW, regular as usual, plus the 1 wild card. I wouldn't be surprised if a fruit version comes back, you're right they do those a lot.

Bottle count doesn't matter much with Bourbon county. They can chug out 15000 props and it will trade almost 2/3 of a DBH. If they make another Rare, that'll compete with DBH-like beers for sure.

I guess the maple could be the Prop, but then again there are all those rumors about Rare coming back.

What was DB Huna's Bottle Count

I think the Rare would be a seperate animal. If Rare is back I would bet that its Prop, Wild Card, Reg, Coffee, BW, and Rare.

I live in Florida and follow CC very closely, and I swear DB Huna is an urban legend. I mean, you hear stories about somebody who saw it, but I've never seen one with my own eyes. And all the pictures are really grainy.

Ive been to a ton of Thanksgivings man, we can also do Thanksgiving the day before or a day after there is so much food and family lingering around. INBEV has nothing to do with the magic they put in those barrels, they f ckth with the 6pk and 12pk stuff. I don't know if you noticed but the trade boards are infested with VR and Prop trades from 2010 to 2013 to now and this is the Bourbon County Speculation thread, not the "Yall are still on this beer? thread" Are you lost man? :grimacing:

    No more than usual.

Like I said, if lines, waiting, trading, bitching, and pissing and moaning about a beer are how you enjoy it, go right ahead. To each their own. It's a fine beer, no doubt, but as others have pointed out, there are equivalents that those of who don't collect all the Pokemans can buy and drink, without the bullshit.

The next Rare won't be in Pappy barrels according to a rep at a GI event last week.

(sorry if this was already posted, there are a lot of posts and mostly small talk)

That's what I was told as well. Rare this year or next, and "King William" the year after.

    I assume you mean 23 year? I don't think a 32 year exists.

Wasnt there that big tour a couple months ago where they released some of these for samplings and tappings across the country? I dont really follow this all that closely, but I thought someone said that was this years stuff?

Was thinking the same thing. If it did bottles of it would probably cost thousands.

Its a beer forum, we're meant to chit chat about beer. Lets be real though, who does a better Coconut stout aged in bourbon barrels, who does a better Strawberry Jam barrel aged stout? Who killed the first vanilla-bourbon beer? Breweries are just getting on there level with a vanilla variant (FO + SP Blend 2). I have had more than a few bourbon-barrel aged stouts at 13% and there are a couple that are good but none as balanced from cold to warm as BCS, that beer is on the verge of a liqueur, as it warms, vanilla pops out in the regular BCS. It is something special in the realm of beer, not Pokemon. Pokemon was all about Charizard man.

Name a couple beers you think are equivalent and easier to get than BCS because, in my opinion, it seems to be getting easier to get every year.
