No shocker that they are still there. I posted their price gouging earlier in this thread (in November). Hoping that no one has purchased any of them. Total robbery.

And if it's any more shocking for you guys, I just found another '15 Rare (found one a few weeks ago too) on the shelf yesterday ($80) and regular is still all over the place at retail.

I was in Chicago last week and stopped in at GI Clybourn . They were selling bottles to-go and wanted $15 for BCBS. Since I have a few at home, I regretfully declined. Plus, still too much $$$.

In SF, Fred's Liquor on the corner of Valencia and Duboce still had a good pile of regular in their fridges as of at least Saturday. Maybe I'm imagining seeing $10.99 price tag, but that's what I seem to remember.

Guess what, same exact thing this year! If anyone in the 818 was hoping to score BCBS variants this year, you'll have to go outside the area. Our local distro hub got less than 10 cases of Barleywine, total, and of course the regular. I have sent multiple emails to GI to find out why we get fucked over, but have yet to receive a reply.

According to their e-mail blast today, Green Jug passed on their BCBS allocation and will not be carrying Goose Island in the coming year

Hollingsheads posted their Black Friday taplist and BCBS was oddly missing too, think this might be a trend this year.

While I have respect for the Green Jug standing up to AB InBev, basing this on a "noticeable dropoff" in beer quality from doing a vertical doesn't make much sense, as Bourbon County is a beer that improves dramatically with age.

Green Jug said this in another thread:

Just a head's up the distributor that handles BCBS in my area has NEVER got the variants all these years, so count the Valley out for anything good. We are flatly refusing BCBS at Green Jug this year, and we DO NOT carry any products from Anheuser-Busch's "The High End" brands of crafty beer. We have reached out to our fellow Angeleno brewers and other fiercely independent breweries from around the nation and have secured some amazing beers, some of which have NEVER received distribution and are hosting a "It's not BCBS Black Friday" sale on DAT which I hope you will find will suffice over any BCBS hunting.

The Instagram photo of them pouring out old bottles while talking about 2017 allocations was also sort of odd
