Texas liquor is selling BCBS right now $15 a pop. Already sold out of coffee and bw. Fyi

 

They were selling early last year as well and usually are selling Reserve Society beers as well.

 

Yep, saw a few of those laying around too. I usually don't support them, but did buy a single bottle to try. Just wanted to know if I need to go out Black Friday or not.

 

How much for the reserve beers. They were charging $50 for melange 1 when I went 1.5 years ago. Didn't buy it but good lord....

Just got confirmation that Hollingshead will *not* be pouring BCBS this year.

 

I have a bit of a gripe and maybe some of you can sympathize with me at least a bit. I live in the Valley and according to every local store, no retailers in this area will get any BCBS other than regular because of the demographics of the distribution center here. Same thing happened last year and frankly, it's bullshit.

 

I just moved from the valley and last year sucked for bcbs! Vendome Beverly Hills got the best stock and got a huge refresh in January or February. They may be my go to. Or Ralphs. I heard that big new ralphs in Sherman oaks off of Ventura had them stilling on the shelf for 10.99.

 

For NorCal peeps...Harry's Hofbrau in Redwood City posted this event for Sat the 26th on their instagram.

We have for you: '16 Coffee BCBS, '16 BCBS, '16 BCBB (Barleywine ages in bourbon barrels), '16 BCBS RARE by bottle pour, '15 BCBS, '15 Juliet, '15 lolita, '15 Halia, '15 Gillian, '15 Madame Rose, and LOTS more. We also heard we might be getting '16 Proprietors BCBS which is extremely rare! Starts at 11am Saturday 11/26.

 

No rare this year. Obviously an error.

 

DTLA Whole Foods is releasing Barleywine and BCBS at 2 today. limit 1 barley and 2 bcbs

 

So all these places advertising Rare this year, is this because they sat on it since last year or did Goose knock loose a stash to give something special since the Maple barrel variant didn't make the cut?

I will also say its irresponsible for these stores to be advertising rare on social media without giving any idea of price but I guess that's between them and the people who line up for 6-12 hours only to find out it's $100 this year...

 

It seems GI had a lot of stock of it cause they were selling them at Prop day too.

 

I think it's all gone but they are pouring 2016 BCBS in the bar. The guy also said they would have pours of 2015 BCBS on Friday too (apparently a good batch).

 

Anyone familiar with allocations in the Fresno area. I'll be up there for thanksgiving and I understand variants don't get much distribution. I'm thinking whole foods is my best bet but does anybody know if the WF in Fresno had variants last year?

 

Yep, Beverly Hills always get a good selection. Buzz wine and beer got pretty much all the variants as well. All the valley store basically get a big "fuck you".
