I hope so. The big stores seemed to be sold out in the AM yesterday.

Wow. Definitely don't need it at that price. Any chance you have it in the kindness of your heart to PM me the LF location?

Anybody find bcs or any of the variants on tap anywhere in orange county? HB area but will drive further. I think slaters 5050 does but $14 for 10 ounces, may as well buy another bottle at that price

I heard Speakeasy tapped a keg a couple nights ago. Usually lasts awhile there.

Why does La get the shaft on bourbon county variants? I feel like last year was just as bad. We are a densely populated city, surly this bottle shops are filling whatever quotas abinbev. Maybe not?

Anyone know where to get regulars in San Francisco? City beer store only had BW on Saturday.

Unsure as this was based off of Friday inventory but Mr. K's had '14, '15 & '16 on sale Friday afternoon still. With the sheer amount of cases behind the counter, I wouldn't be surprised if at least '16 was still there. $9.99 for 15 & 16, $6.99 for 14. Non-infected dates for '15 too.

Word is that South Orange County area distribution got delayed (at least to some places). Look for the smaller stores to get it later this week, around Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. Osheas I believe is going on sale Thursday or Friday due to a delay.

So....in terms of actually having tried the beer: Did anybody else find this year's batch to be way thinner in mouthfeel/body than in the past? Ended up with more of a thin, dark fruit/raisin flavor than the nice, full bodied batches pre-2015.

I had a few ounces from a bottle shared day of release and don't recall it being too thin... I also thought it had returned to its former vanilla/marshmallow glory of years gone by which I thought was pretty muted in '15.

I got a bottle from my local grocery store to see how this year's turned out. Found it on the more cloying side, closer to maybe 2013. Glad I only got one bottle. BATF is better.

Adams Bottle Shop in South Redondo has regular and BW for $9.99 and $11.99 (? I think) still.

Urge Oceanside has 15 and 16 on tap. Found 16 to be much thinner with more burbon. 15 had more chocolate, coconut, and even a hint of orange chocolate candy.

I had bottles of 2015 and 2016 back to back. Very consistent between the two IMHO.

Edit: Did they have two ABV ratings again this year? My bottle was 13.8%.

Drank a '16 last night and a '15 tonight. I don't necessarily think there was a difference in body between the two. But I would agree that the '16 was a lot more bourbon heavy and, as best as I can describe it, was a little chalky. The '15 has more char and bitterness that adds more chocolate flavors. There was also more tang which adds to the fruit jam flavors. Granted, the '15 was from my best batch from last year. I had some that was a little hotter and some that was very bland.

I got bottles from three different batches this year as well. They are all 13.8%
