Miska's in LP has Rare, 2016 Prop, 2016 Regular and BW, 2017 Regular and BW, and Northwoods. Enjoy!

South Loop Market on Van Buren has about two cases of 2017 Regular right now.

I'd happily pay double for BCBS. I'd also prefer buy a package or ticket online that allows me to pick-up the beer at a later date (similar to Founders), even at a premium. Just my opinion.

I was going to go to LP Binny's, but from the online feedback passed on it. I almost went to the Jewel on Southport (how was that, did anyone go?), but slept in. I went to that Jewel around 10 AM, and bought a case of Regular. I was able to find 2 Barleywine's today in Wheeling at Liquor Barn. I like the varients but it's not worth waiting for 12 hours outside in the cold.

I went to Jewel on Southport. Got there around 6:30 and got 2 BCS and 1 BW. Looked like the last Prop went to the person about 10 in front of me, and I got one of the last BW's. Guessing they (the last Prop guy) got there around 6, but that's just a guess based on the line. I could have gone back for more Reg, but opted to check out other spots.
Shout out to the Southport Jewel for moving the line inside around 6:45, 15 mins before the doors were technically supposed to open.

I work next door and just stopped in. Care to give me a hint on where. I must be blind.

It usually sits around here a while.

    Edit: found it. I’m blind.

What are the prices? Heard prices on beer/liquor at this spot are egregiously high.

$12.99 for Regular and $14.99 for BW. 2016 prop was $80....

They are are always slightly more being in Lincoln Park for their basic beers, but they know what they have in BCbS and variants and gouge accordingly. They priced Rare $225 back in 2015. Dropped it to $175 in 2016 despite it being available for $70 at Binnys. They were selling infected 2015 barleywine and coffee for $50 a bottle in Nov. 2016. The guys says "the owner prices them This way because people will pay these prices."

Just walked out of Miska's, the employee wanted 59.99 for Northwoods hahahaha. What a joke. Don't waste your trip.

The #1 easiest way to end the line mess is just to Ban the line. Simple as that. Also. They should just sell premade allotments online they you have a week to pick up. If you want singles they can just hold a few cases and put them on the shelf randomly. This whole line up BS needs to end. Thousands and thousands and thousands of bottles and having to be in line by 530 am is a joke.

yeah, i think GI should just sell pre-made box sets with anywhere from 4-6 bottles depending on production that year (3 reg, 1 each of Prop, Coffee, BW etc). You can pick it up at their barrel room within 7 days or something.
They could then ship out cases of reg and BW to Binny's so that they don't lose out on sales as well. I can't imagine 2,000 people in line to get 3 bottles of regular when it's everywhere.

Reserve hunters should check in with Prestige Liquors in Downer's Grove. I have no idea if there is any left, but when I went Friday morning they had it and it was completely dead.

You really want to create chaos? Stagger a bunch of unannounced releases over a 2-3 month period at different Binny's locations. They're on sale for a couple of hours, and then *poof* Kaiser Soze . . .

Of course, I say this tongue-in-cheek knowing that, at least logistically, it would be difficult to pull off. Yet the butt hurt that will follow . . .
