Free Bourbon County variants aren't bound by the imperialist device known as a clock.

Still pouring northwoods at the hot sauce event ... the sauce was another solid fun co op variant (my favorite is still the bolt sauce they make for half acre)

The northwoods stout is excellent ... tart blueberry juice and a little almond bitterness offset the bourbon nicely. I had 3 solid pours and will be happy to seek this one out on Black Friday.

They will be pouring prop at bang bang tomorrow.

Here's what I've heard about Binny's pricing from a reliable source....
    • Reg - 11.99
    • Coffee and Barleywine - 14.99
    • Prop and Northwoods - 24.99
    • Knob Creek Reserve - 25.99

BeerHoptacular had 2014 Bourbon County Coffee on Draft and 2014 BCBS this morning/afternoon. Both were still fantastic as expected, should have both available tonight as well.

Double Barrel will be 32.99/bottle according to my Binny's source.

My understanding is Double Barrel is keg only. Do you mean Knob Creek Reserve?

I saw the 32.99 price point on the screen which makes me think double barrel is a bottle option. Could be wrong I guess.

Huh? I thought DB BCBS was kegs only?

I'm curious what is $32.99/ bottle in this series then. Im 100% sure I saw this price point on the upcoming Bourbon County list he showed me.

Maybe it was the cancelled BW?

It may be the Knob Creek Reserve. Not discounting the post above at all but it being only $1 more than the quoted price for Prop & Northwoods ($24.99) seems a bit odd to me. We'll find out in due course certainly.

Wasn't BW. Hate to spread misinformation but I saw what I saw. Maybe they just have a higher price there for Reserve.

Not disagreeing with you. The $70 for 2 Props and 1 Reserve at Prop Day is either a good deal or both beers will be in the low $20’s

Ah, good point. I was just throwing something out there to explain the 32.99 price mentioned above. It's likely not the reserve stout then!

    2 questions:

    1) Is Binny's about as cheap as anyplace else in the city?

    2) Is $11.99 an increase?

I ask because I know a store locally to where I currently live apparently had regular for 8.99 and BW for 11.99 in 2015. So I was just wondering if Chicago is normally more expensive for BC (which is somewhat surprising since it is originating here?), or if there have been price increases since 2015?

8.99-10.99 seemed to be standard. 11.99 is definitely an increase for regular.

I feel like 2015 had $9.99 for regular and 12.99 for coffee/bw at Binny’s. With these price increases the refunds will be much bigger. I kid!!
