Anyone have any info on Skokie Binnys. What time would be a good one to line up for full allotment? Any intel would be much appreciated.

 

For anyone driving down to LP if you use SpotHero there’s an underground garage on Clyborn about a block away that’s only $5 if you book on the app. Used it last year no problems and just booked it for this year.

 

Also lots of coupon codes online for Spot Hero. The $5-$6 people have been reporting is cheap enough for Chicago, but obviously every dime counts with how this stout season is shaping up.

For those curious, Total Wine has 2017 Regular listed at $11.99 per bottle at a Las Vegas store. LA area TW stores are showing it at $10.99 and other random states have $12.99.

Anyone seeing any Wednesday tappings of the '17 BCBS or variants yet? I know each year there are a few downtown the day before Thanksgiving but checking BeerMenus and untappd I haven't seen anything yet.

Do a search on the internet for Bourbon County tappings. You'll find plenty of information. There are tappings at a number of places on Wednesday and Friday, and they have been mentioned in this thread as well (although it could be another thread, since there are a few different 2017 BCBS threads I've been looking at).

Go to the FB, Twitter, websites of the places that @Ckoz mentioned, and you should find details.

 

Make sure you guys head to Hopsmiths event Tuesday if you want to win some infected bottles of 2015 BCBS and its variants.....

 

Anybody know of a place(s) in Wisconsin that have cases sitting on the floor for weeks? Seems to be a common theme in California, NY, MA etc., but not in Wisconsin. I'm about 3 hours north of Milwaukee and willing to make the trip.

 

I've always been under the impression that places that get "cases on the floor" of BCBS are in areas where the hype for it isn't strong. Unfortunately Milwaukee and its satellite towns all tend to get scooped up pretty quickly as I'm guessing is also the case for Madison. Small town out of the way shops probably won't even get it and if they do only a case or two that will still get the workover from people in the know. You need the magic combo of large enough demographic/sales to get BCBS in the first place plus lack of hype. Not sure of any place in WI that fits that description. Hopefully someone else knows otherwise and sends the info to you via PM to keep the magic alive and prevent a stampede. Godspeed!

High of 50 degrees on 11/24. Breezy (15-20 mph) with clouds and sun.
Early morning looks to be in the mid 30s.
