Were these $85 at Prop Day or was i in a post-Northwoods hallucination?

 

I dk about Naperville Jewels, but I don't think you'll be rolling up at any of them at 9 and grabbing a full allocation and splitting. They all start selling at 7am, and my guess is people will be lining up at all of them, particularly the ones with variants which all Naperville are. You might be able to do that and get regular. Others might know more than me though...

 

Counterpoint: Prop was not as well regarded last year, specifically after Fobab. Also and perhaps more importantly, Reserve is a huge addition to the lineup over last year. The coffee shortage of 2016 wasn’t fully realized until Black Friday was underway and people were disappointed at their local stops

 

^All of this. Throw in the bigger than ever allocation at LP, word starting to get around of low level of variants at usual haunts, and "nice" weather forecasted...

 

Only interested if it was aged in a '15 Rare barrel.

I'm heading to Jewel around 5-5:30 and I'll decide whether to stay based on the line. The baby's been waking up in the late 4s anyway, so I'll feed her and then head out while everyone else is asleep. I figure I can waste 90 min for a chance at some variants.

 

Anyone at beer bistro? How is it there?

 

Out of curiosity, what time does LP start handing out tickets to the folks in line?

 

Bottles of Prop '14 and VR are only $300, with the ability to take them to go.

None of the big variants have been tapped yet.

 

Wow and here I was scoffing at $80 for a VR at Fountainhead

Is it butts to nuts in there? I was there last year and hung out for 4 hours and was never able to get an actual table

 

So Sheffields started tapping before the advertised 6pm. No crowd at all. Prop is wonderful.

My ice shanty arrived this afternoon. Did a trial run in the yard with the Mr. Heater. Had it to 70 degrees easily. No RV necessary.
