Wasn't 2015 the year it was cold, windy, and misting? If that's the year I'm remembering I also remember hearing rumblings after going through the Lakeview Binny's line that people were bee-lining it down to LP Binny's to get a better alotment. I think you could still get through at around 11:00 am that year...

...or I'm just misremembering everything. Misinformation is the word of the year after all.

Saw variants today at Printers Row (no Reserve and Prop went very quick apparently), Park West Liquor (had all except Reserve and Prop, and I’m assuming prices were high) and R&A Grocer (had Bramble, Orange, WW and CBW - prices were unknown...they actually asked me how much they should be).

I’d also like to know this about the BG/VH area.

Not sure if this was posted already, but Binny’s LP has BCS 16-18 for $12 a pop. Also had 17 BCBW. And snifters.

Across the street, Goose Clybourn still has 18 BCS, Wheatwine, and Bramble on tap.

Got a link to that page? Apparently my search abilities are nonexistent, and I can't find it anywhere.

Your post lacks in spite, anger, and judgment. I expect better from you.

Finally having Wheatwine. It reminds me a little of when I first had BCBBW, before my hope was destroyed; tasty shit.

edit: whoever compared Bramble to Clare's Thirsty has a decent point. I think Clare's is more intense and a bit more bitter, but this is completely the opposite of how I expected Bramble to be. I like it a lot, but it's VERY jammy, and much less sweet/more tart than I expected.

Houston Wine and Liquor off the Irving Park brown line has everything except prop and reserve (they didnt get any). Prices a little high ($35 for vanilla, bramble, and orange) but if you missed out on the variants not insane gouging.

Sheesh... I paid 23.99 for variants in Grand Rapids. I’d consider $11 a bottle pretty insane gouging to me.

Don't disagree...having said that I went into a shop asking for $50 for those three so comparatively not insane.

Desplaines/Kinzie Jewel still has about 15 cases of Wheatwine on the floor in the produce section (don't sleep on the wheatwine!) at $15.99 a pop. Only Midnight Orange and Regular on draft when I was there. For those still needing that Prop or Vanilla, D&D Food & Liquors at Damen/Division has both for $59.99 each. I gasped when presented with that price. They also have some very solid sour BW 2015 for those so inclined - HA!

Shit, I don't read this thread for 2 days for the birth of my child and then all the fun starts ...

Really looking forward to new variant next year - Double Dipped BCBS.
