Having an “all in” only option will probably cut down the line as well.

    $250-$300 is no joke.

i've always said that they should have a pre-sale option where you can buy the full allotment for a ridiculously inflated price and be able to pick it up within a certain window without having to stand in line. they could sell 500 full allotments for $500-$600 and they would sell out in minutes.

at the very least the people bitching here about the price would be entertaining.

Wouldn’t count on that. I don’t know too many people only standing in line to get Just a few bottles of each variant

I think for each person who drops out at that limit, one person jumps in as seeing it as more worthwhile to be able to get everything....I don't want doubles of anything so for the 4 beers they give you two, of I'm sure I won't have any trouble getting friends to take these off my hands.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the move to 7am. That’s a pretty impactful change as well. To me it means the people who get in line an LP at dinner time Thursday night will be enabled to double dip at smaller shops that open at 9 or 11 more easily.

I’m going to be in StL this year, so no horse in this race. Will see what the downstate options are, I could be convinced to try Springfield or something.

I actually immediately thought about this when I read the changes. Just forgot to make a post about it. But yeah, people will be doing this for sure.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at this point, but people really want to go out and drop $500+ on just BCBS? Seems crazy to me.

You absolutely come off like the old man screaming get off my lawn in so many of these posts. You're like the old fucks in the beer talk forum that say they won't ever pay more than $2 a beer because they drink 12 a day and that's be too expensive.

We get it. You're not as excited to throw money at some of these beers like we are. Your posts are getting tiresome.

I'll happily throw money at GI, ABI, or whomever can deliver me that LP allotment and BC in general.

Anyone else find it funny that the lottery website tells you that you can add the event to your calendar after you enter for tickets?

Every time I see it I'm like "I would if I could you [explative] website!"

    It's Sunday morning, relax dude.

My point was right after people were showing concern that people would go to LP at 7 and then go to other Binny's. It's a concern that hadn't even occurred to me because I didn't think people would want to spend that much.

    It's a forum man.

Perhaps my tone was too aggressive. I've seen you post about people spending too much money or waiting in line a bunch this week I feel like.

I just don't understand why people post multiple times about something that dislike on a thread that is really catered to discussion. You know people will happily throw that much money at BC, so it's not even a question. It's just trolling to me.

There's an ignore function if you're that offended by it.

I legit am surprised that people would be willing to drop half a grand in a single day on Bourbon County. I remember spending $100 to get all of the BCBS beers the first year Prop was released and that felt like a ton to me.

People will always pay for the variants. They can sell them for 3x to 7x what they paid. Or even if it’s less nefarious, they’ll scoop them up for friends back in wherever

Personally, the only reasons I could think of that would make me do it is:

    1. It bothers me so much that I can't help but reply.
    2. It's important to me that everyone knows my position on the subject.

I've probably been guilty of one or both before.

I have to say, I'm probably passing on LP if this is the format. I have no issue with them only doing full allocations and seemingly generous ones at that), but that amount of beer + money is more than I can justify devoting to BCBS, especially given how little I actually drink the bottles I have.

Super curious what the case ends of costing in the end. I guess $249.99 + Tax and Vintage.

I think it's fun they changed up allotments, etc. However I think this steers any casual BC fans, like myself, away from going to LP and going to another location. This allotment will attract two types of people:
    1. Huge BC Fans
    2. Max profitz shit lords.

I'll stick to my local store where I can get a couple bottles of reg, coffee and a variant or two.
