Won in 2016 and 2017. Did not win this year, but a friend did.

I did not attempt Rare day.

I received the same email. But noticing the horrendous grammatical errors I had chalked it up to a Nigerian scammer. But it seems it might indeed be legit.

Got the "yes" email at 4:30 today. Very excited. Lined up the babysitter for Nov 11 and put my wife as my +1.
Then had buyers remorse as a saw people offering BADL and Bramble in trade for a +1...maybe they could wear a wig?

I hope your “friend” isn’t charging you the full price.

Crushed I didn’t win but happy for those who can go. It’s one of the best beer days of the year. If they let you buy a couple of xtra tokens it would be perfect. They started with VR as a mystery pour last year which was awesome. Line times for the lineup pours were very reasonable.

I’ll have to break out something good at home that day to console myself haha

Question: were the mystery pours in the past requiring tokens as well? Like, I don't want to blow through my tokens only for them to release a mystery beer at 3 PM?

From my hazy memories of last year...I had more tokens than liver space. Don't fret.

Welp, it's official that everyone I know that entered (about a dozen or so) got shutout across the board. O for 3 years now. Guess I'll be slumming it on Black Friday again...

So $70 for a prebundle of 2 Props and 1 Vanilla. That seems really fair actually.
    Sorry, can’t stop smiling.

    Hi All,

I didn't win but a guy who won claimed me as his guest. He is sadly not sure if he can fully commit so as a risk I paid $60 despite me being the "guest". Last year they allowed the guest to go as long as they had their ticket even if the main ticket holder couldn't make it. I don't see this policy stated in the "Q&A" section so was wondering if this means that if main ticket holder can't go the guest is "totally screwed"? I know basically that I'd be paying double in that event..but just felt it worthwhile enough as I cannot proxy for the main ticket holder.

You have to pay more to actually buy the bottles of beer to go. FYI.

I just looked at my tickets. Both are QR codes with one name above....first is mine, second my wife's. No way of determining which is the "winner" and which is "guest"....both just say "Lottery Winner" and one name.

Why would someone enter into the lottery if they cannot go? The date is clearly given in advance. This is why lotteries suck imo. People just sign up for the hell of it. Or have people sign up on their behalf for the hell of it.
And why would you pay the full price of both tickets knowing the winner might not be able to go even though both parties need to be present according to the rules?

    Did they post the prices?

I would guess you’d be ok. Doing a +1 situation is really difficult. Even dark lord has basically given up.
