If you don't find any, I'll hook you up with a couple of mine.

traded for 16 of these from smithrob999 (thanks again for the fast and smooth trade)then ran in to some luck and a buddy found some at a few heb's around town. so 1 trade 3 stores. produced this. This is one of the only beers I can just pop a top off at room temp. sip on it when I need something to help me fall asleep. So a months worth of sleep aide right there. The sad thing is I already drank the 20 I got back when they were released. Glad Texas got some.

Well I'm gonna make a run into San Antonio tomorrow, so hopefully I can grab a 4pk somewhere.

Nice !! That's how it always happens with me. I set up a trade and then luck into a bunch. FWIW this will be a good one to hold onto. It's a 2013 (only) release and should age well. Same recipe as King Henry and that one is going strong with 5+ years on it.

king henry was released nov 2011 so its 2.5 years old. Rare I believe was 2009 release. its going on 5 years now.
Its really good. thanks again for the trade

Got those confused. Should age well I think. I'm trying to put a few BCBS back 2-3 years and see what happens

I called around on Wednesday and all of my normal places in SA still didn't have any, but they were expecting it soon.

I like this beer as much as king henry. THe rest is hype. :grinning: There are a few subtle differences and yes its due to the barrels used but this beer has it's own legs to stand on. It should age pretty well. Im just glad many people do not like barleywines. MORE FOR ME!

Not that I've seen, but I bet HEB Alon gets it this week if it hasn't already. Didn't check there today...

Called Alon and 281 & Evans, neither one had it in. They said just check back. Specs Live Oak said they're not authorized for it, but doesn't mean they won't get it.

Lol this BCBW really cracks me up. WTF happened that it comes a full 7 months after the initial release? Not only that but it all came in waves? BCBS on time, BCBCS a bit delayed, and then BCBW 7 months later? I really don't get what could have caused this or if they did this on purpose why they would have done that.

This gives me hope that maybe in a few months we will get a few cases of Backyard landing lol. The only Backyard Houston has seen was at Specs for the GI Migration week.
