Ill be in Bing visiting family for Thanksgiving, anyone know if Sam or Wegmans will be doing anything for the release?
No definite info, but I shop both places all the time here. Last year I only saw a lone 4pk of standard BCBS at JC Wegman's on the Wednesday before T-G, meaning whatever small amount they had was gone before Black Friday. And, I did not see it at Sam's, although I admit I wasn't even looking for it there ... and Sam's does not carry much GI, which may play into their potential allocation for BCBS. I will be at Sam's later this week, and I'll try to update here with any info I get from them.
Sam's will have only regular BCBS along with some of last years KBS, available when they open at 9AM Friday ... per their FB page. Checked Wegman's on Wednesday, no dice, but they display about 8 feet of shelf space to GI beers year round, so they will almost certainly have some, hoping on Friday. Ugh, I work Friday. Won't get to Sam's till 5PM. Good Beer Hunting, all.
