I would guess that Cherry BCS batch size is considerably smaller than what Bell's Cherry Stout would have been. Is it possible that Goose uses a different type of cherry?

I believe the tart cheery crop fairedbetter than sweet cherries... Not sure which ones they would use for beer...

Bell's specifically uses Montmorency tart cherries. Goose didn't specify, but they also get a lot of their fruit from the family farms that come to Green City Markety (Nichols, Seedling etc) so maybe they had contracted for their crop.

Tart cherries are most commonly used in beer, and that was the crop hardest hit.

I heard from the farm we goto annually in SW MI that sweet cherries were hit harder, either way... Cheers..

I like that they added a Brewmaster 'signature' back onto the label.

I personally can't wait for this release. I'll buy like a case, then I'll post a bunch of "FT: BCBCRS, ISO: Blabaer+".

It would be delightful if they produced as much of this as they did the last round of BCBCS. Oh well, looks like we're all rubbing the magic rabbit's foot again.
