Except for the fact that CWBBS is terrible.

It doesn't even drink like a stout

Um okay? What is it then? An IPA?
The grains dictate what type of beer it is, and it really doesn't matter what your personal opinion on the taste is.

For a stout? No way. It's a slightly thinner and less boozy version of BCBS. Which obviously makes sense since it's 9.5% compared to 15%. The ABV is primarily coming from the sugars extracted from the grains, and at 9.5%, there is a ton of body there. Not sure why you think otherwise. Float a hydrometer in some of it, and that will be prove that it has plenty of body.

He's talking about the mouthfeel, not the gravity. I do agree that CWBBS is a great beer though; not sure how light bodied = terrible, but to each his own.

Body, gravity, and mouth feel all go hand-in-hand though. Body/mouth feel are attributed to final gravity. He was basically saying that it's watery, but it's far from that. It's cool that he has an opinion, but some technical parts of it are simply false.

IDK, when I drink CWBBS, I feel gravity pulling at the beer I'm drinking until it collects around my mid-section in ever increasing amounts. To each their own.

Damn....I love it when the seller has NO clue it's a rare bare and just prices it normally.

It is really light in body for a stout. Everyone who rates the beer average makes sure to point this out. It is lighter in body than 90% of the imperial stouts in my store right now.

Right, it does. I was referring to what didn't happen in his picture.

2013 BCBS $21/4-pack at the Jewel on the southwest corner of Ashland and Wellington. About a case and a half left.
