Bourbon County Coffee 2015 - Gusher?

That's strange. I called and they offered me a refund for the BW and Coffee I bought. I told them where, when, and how much I bought it for and they didn't ask anything more. I actually remembered afterwards that I bought 2 BW, but I'm cool with a refund for the two bottles. This is definitely the most generous thing I've ever seen a brewery do.

 

yeah I told her I didn't have receipts but that I could take a screenshot of my credit card statement and she said that was fine.

 

Won't someone think of the King Henry!?!

 

That doesn't help me much either since there are a bunch of Regal and Regular in addition to the BW and Coffee... I'm sure I'll figure it out though.

 

This is very cool of them to do. I for one am impressed with how Goose is handling things. Much better than the couple other breweries I've reported quality issues to

 

I think this represents good customer service, but also the fact that refunds are a mere drop in the bucket for a company of this size.

 

Soooo can we agree that the batch is infected NOW!? Can we NOW agree we don't need to discuss if folks can tell whether something tastes like gourmet coffee or garbage?

And please, folks complaining about GI's response, WTF else do you want them to do, personally apologize to each of you and hand deliver your refund?

 

yeah, i forgot! We need to go back to a post where we called out this person to make sure they appear here when the official word comes from InBev!

 

Nice. I'll be calling that phone # on Monday to get my refund for my infected BCBCS.

In the mean time.....@pagriley is shorting $BUD right now as he figured out the difference between Valuation vs. Growth today. Because Goose Island makes a difference to InBev.

Apparently this Jared guy hasn't had any Intelligentsia coffee else he would realize it's the delicate fruity characteristics of the coffee which are (ahem) dominating the flavor of some of these BCBCS bottles.

 

I wonder how many people's BCBCS and BCBBW hauls suddenly doubled in size right before this refund program

 

You two @pagriley need to get a room...and sort it out together in private.

 

Eager to see if they will refund my $25/bottle purchase of BCBCS or just give me retail value.

 

Here's another question - what happens if we buy BW now? I still see it on shelves around NYC. Can we gamble on buying it and if it sucks still get a refund?

 

IMO right now if you buy coffee or BW, yes..you gamble.
