I would venture to guess every place that is cheaper is sold out right now. If you haven't had it, it's probably going to be your best chance. Or you could skip this one.

28$ For a single bottle seems insane, yet it's sold out almost everywhere. It's almost like a self fulfilling prophesy, the more they charge, the more people want it. What if next year they bumped it up 5$. At what point would it just sit on shelves untouched?

i paid 21 with my employee discount. i mean it was great, but don't let BA ratings convince you to pay ridiculous prices for a beer, unless you really love a certain beer that much.

Place by me is getting $7 for a ten oz pour. Don't know if that helps, but draft beer is always better of course.

That's basically $16 for a bottle! It shows how expensive these bottles are!

That's just ridiculous. I've never seen the 4 pack above $23 where I live.

It cost about $22-$24 for a four pack from a distributor (at the case price of $130-$140) after taxes in Philly so it's not going to be super cheap to start.

It's a really fantastic beer, so if you've never had it I'd probably recommend buying one bottle at that price and enjoying it.

Paid 19.99 at Total Wine in Cherry Hill, NJ. I know it's Philly and all, but the Craft Beer Outlet overcharges on everything. Then they tack on 10% sales tax. Rough.

$19.99 isn't bad. How long ago was that? I'm sure they're out of it by now

Philly beer stores don't have a choice, they have to tack on the sales tax. Also, beer is more expensive to bring in from the distributors in the city.

Craft beer outlet prices are fair for being in Philadelphia, prices are higher at the Foodery for example.

I remember a thread where someone said that bottle shops already paid the tax to the distributor, so are they within their rights to charge again? Not sure if this may be a Philly vs. rest of PA thing. I know I've seen different practices around the suburbs.

About 2 weeks ago - I was surprised to find it. I had to ask for it first, though.

I love how prices for a Philly bottle shop are getting compared to Jersey.

Hudson Vine in Jersey City just got in Coffee yesterday and I was able to grab two bottles for $13.99 each. Certainly the best price I have come across for that beer thus far.
