I am going to a tasting tonight at a local liquor store. At the end of the even i get the chance to purchase either coffee or cherry rye... with there being so few reviews for cherry rye I am hesitant to pick it... any thoughts?

    Cheers!

At Lukas Liquors I'm guessing? As far as I know the Cherry Rye hasn't actually arrived here yet

Cherry Rye is way more limited if that's what you're into. I've had both and they're both great. Don't let the lack of reviews for Cherry Rye throw you off.

Coffee has been released several times, and is likely to be released many more. Get the Cherry.

Coffee tastes a lot better. To my taste.

Do you like fruits or coffees? That is your answer.

Whichever one maximizes your future profit margin.

He should hold on to it for like 4 years, endure countless nights of pain in anxious realization of the deliciousness he has, and then turn it for a 20$ profit down the road. Sounds like it's worth it:wink:.

If taste is relevant go with Coffee!

Follow your own palate/passion rather than the temptation of a "rare beer" and you won't be disappointed with the choice. Beer is just beer. It should bring joy not anxiety...because beer matters.

Bourbon County Coffee is one of the best beers I've had period and easily the best coffee stout I've tried. My vote goes to coffee if you've never had.

Also, if you are going to a tasting, why don't you find another person there that may want to get one of each and share them? Win win.
