Bourbon County Coffee

    Yes, but it hadn't been cellared. It had a funny taste to it, not entirely coffee and tad faded. Really weird. I had a 2012 BCSBCS on tap, that tasted fade but the flavors weren't off entirely.

    I get pepper/vegital a lot in coffee beers. I think I am particularly sensitive that.

    Umm it doesn't matter at what temp you serve this stuff, because if you truly sip it, you will be enjoying it through all temps as it warms from cold to warm, and this beer is delicious at any temperature

    The cold stored one the coffee was 90% still there. But the bitterness of the coffee was gone. Also strangely picked up some sweetness and coconut that wasn't there before.

    The warm stored one the coffee was barely there. Id say 10% of the coffee remaining.

    Im doing the same thing tonight, except with a regular BCBS. Going to have a fire with some friends and hes bringing over some good IPAs and im in charge of the stouts/porters. I do have BCBCS but i think i want to wait till christmas time to crack one open.
