    Hamden BevMax was acting funny too! I've been a regular for three years and they tell me "nada". The other issue is that they fired the old staff and brought new folks in.

    I always go here as well and have noticed the exact same thing. I did get a bottle from BevMax in Norwalk and they were having a ton of trouble ringing it up...apparently it hadn't been put in the system yet so it took 10 minutes to check me out for 1 bottle and they were talking about keeping the rest in the back until they got it in the system. Maybe the one in Stamford is doing the same thing and holding out for a bit. Three Seas in Stamford had a bunch on Saturday and let me grab as many as I wanted so you can check there if they still have it.

    I was going to call the guy out but I'm not like that... Its just beer so I moved on... It's crazy to hear this happened to others though. Good to know!

    With sought after beers, I never understood why stores haven't embraced social media and annouce the drops like Beverage Warehouse of VT does.

    I've found their announcements of drops for Heady, double sunshine and BCBS to be very helpful.

    Because they'd irritate people even more when they hide it behind the counter and lie to people that they sold out/didn't get it.

    I just got an email that they have it at Manchester Wine and Liquors (limited quantities, 1 bottle limit apparently).

    It's all over NYC. Every Whole Foods I go into has like cases of it sitting around. No one cares.

    Edit: The stout @ MW&L I mean. In NYC the stout and the barleywine are both everywhere.

    Haven't heard of any shops getting the Regal yet. Just the BCBS and BW. Wonder if anyone will get it.

    Supply and demand most stores are lucky to have gotten a case or two so that's 24 bottles at most if they put it on social media hundreds of people would show up demanding it and throwing hissy fits when the store sells out then probably come on this site and blast the store for not having it . They also risk not being able to supply their regulars who might be looking for it who are the life blood of the shop. Limited release have turned a lot of us into whiney brats

    Yup this. If stores got 100+ case drops of SOS like they do in VT then they'd put it on social media

    I believe the average range has been $19.99-$24.99. At least that is what I paid in MA. I am just curious as to where this Regal was found.

    Cases and variants to be had at relative ease in MA and NY, Grand Central Duane Reade even had it on the shelf! Yet we are subject to this rat race. Come on people, drink more Honkers :wink:

    To be fair, the only variant found in MA with relative ease has been the BW. Coffee and Regal, much, much tougher. Good luck!
