Bourbon County in CT 2015

No luck around Manchester, looks like I missed the boat this year as we're heading back to VT (where it's released today) on Sunday.

 

Connecticut is an absolute joke when it comes to the stuff it's ridiculous how often this happens

 

Everyone I've spoken with says it's coming next week. Labels weren't registered with the state in time to sell in November.

 

How does that happen? This is not a nano brewery or first time sale.

well technically they are new bottles/labels but still unacceptable really.

 

Regular BCBS was sold at at least two stores in Milford last year on Good Friday (wines unlimited, wine & spirit co).

 

I heard this from several bottle shops that I frequent.

 

I live in NE CT, and last year I was able to find Regular and Barleywine in stores on Black Friday. Although some stores didn't get it until later that day. There was no Coffee in CT last year, from what I heard, and Vanilla Rye was very limited and arrived much later. I think the distributor even split up cases of VR, so most stores only had a few bottle allocation.

With everything I read on here I decided to just go to MA today, and didn't even check my local stores. Also The Booze Barn in Canterbury posted on FB today that they won't have it until next week.

 

Ya there is, but they are last years and overpriced. We didn't get any yet. Francos in madison has had singles forever from last year. Haven't been in there in months but i bet they still have some.

 

We've been told that it should be coming into the warehouse this weekend and will go out for delivery midweek.

I remember last year was wacky too, though CT is behind on pretty much everything, beer and otherwise.

 

Just talked to my regular guy. He didn't know exactly when it was coming but said he was only getting 24 bottles total. He didn't say if it was just regular or variants. They're a pretty big store too...

 

24?!?!?! Happy I grabbed some in mass yesterday then. Not suprised by the small numbers we could be getting. I mean look at what some of the bigger stores got in mass, couple cases of regular and less then a case of variants. Ct isn't even close to what mass gets for distro and stuff

 

Got two bottles (2pp max) of regular in Mass, and the store I was in had 12+ cases sitting on a u-boat at 12 noon. From what I can tell Mass got A LOT, at least of regular, so hopefully we get something similar.

 

I keep hearing more and more from people that ct isn't getting any variants

 

Just like Vermont, just like Maine.

 

Has anyone heard about any bcbs going on tap anywhere?

 

Maine did get variants but very little. I saw one shop just outside of Portland got a single case of coffee and Bier Cellar had coffee, barleywine, rye and regular, but everything was sold out before they even opened.

 

back stage in torrington put on a keg of 2015 today. Chance bottles will land tomorrow?
