You may actually be better off down there. Much fewer beer geeks, but the TW Naples always gets a bunch and I'm sure there are other spots as well. Tampa will be a zoo.

 

You should be set. TW Fort Myers got a ton last year including Vanilla (watched one guy grand-aunt-uncle-nephew mule his way to nearly a case with a 1pp limit), meanwhile I had friends in Orlando lucky to get a bottle or two at our normal local spots. I'm actually a bit pissed I won't be down there this year.

looks like i'll be spending my thanksgiving in fort myers this year.

 

I guess I won't talk about the fact I made it from Naples to Port Charlotte ABC to find a pallet full of regular and me as first customer buying it at 12PM, gotta share the wealth.

Reality is it seems to change every year, year before Naples got everything so everyone stock piled the Naples store and they got no variants but Fort Myers did, you just never know until Black Friday.

Not to high jack this thread, but I'll be down in the Jupiter area for Black Friday. Anybody have any suggestions for me on where to stop/what I might be able to expect to see? I'm assuming TW in PB Gardens will have some. I also know there's Craft Beer City in Jupiter, but do they get any? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

The ABC in Cape Coral had BCBS sixers till January and even some Bcbw till February. I think you're gong to be ok.

 

Luekens, Total Wine, Whole Foods, ABC ... Im sure all or a mix of those will be getting something.

 

I was told by TW Naples that they got jobbed this year and are limiting 1 bottle per customer and are receiving zero variants. Big disappointment for me but life will go on. Hope GI/local wholesaler makes it up to the market later on.

Brass tap Naples will tap a keg (1 of 6 in the area they said) on Friday iirc.

 

I Imagine the South Miami TW's and other liquor stores will limit it to 1 bottle pp and it will go fast. I might stop at a TW early since I'll be up but I am fine not getting any.

 

Here in Miami, 2013 BC Barleywine and Stout sat on the shelves forever at some local beer craft beer spots. I picked up a few 4-packs over the course of several months back then which I've been enjoying off and on over the years but sadly those days are gone.

I might check the TW that's 5 minutes from my place here in South Beach but that's it -- trekking out to Pinecrest/Kendall just for a single bottle is a bit much. I must digress, I am a little spoiled now that JW is cranking out world-class shit on a regular basis now.

 

Any advice on what time to get to tw in Miami? I'm down from Orlando, in Orlando the line was 75 deep at 5am

From what I've heard the few accounts that got coffee had people lined up as early as 5am, only a few cases spread around south FL. Plenty of reg and bw still left at pinecrest and kendall total wine
